10 YEARS OF ARTWORK BLOSSOMING IN THE GARDENS
Celebrating the tenth year anniversary of the project, the Bournemouth Lower Gardens Exhibition returns from Saturday 28th April – Monday 7th May 2012. Second year students from the Fine Art course at the Arts University College at Bournemouth will be turning Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens into an exhibiting space as part of a live project for students to respond to the Gardens as inspiration, understanding the nature of Site Specific artwork. ...more

Pick 'n' Mix is the seventh annual Bournemouth Gardens contemporary art exhibition showcasing the work of second year BA (Hons) Fine Art students studying at the Arts University College Bournemouth (AUCB). Leah Watts will perform her piece ‘Women’s Work’ dressed as a 1950’s housewife, complete with an old fashioned sewing machine, under a tree near the Bournemouth Eye balloon in the Lower Gardens, at 1.15pm on Saturday, and at 1.30pm on Sunday and 1.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
